President unveils “Minds in Cyprus” platform

President Nikos Christodoulides has announced the operation of the updated “Minds in Cyprus” electronic platform, which aims to serve as a bridge for Cypriots living and working abroad.

In a post on social media, President Christodoulides said that “in May, we presented the 'Minds in Cyprus' initiative, a strategic choice of the government that aims to build a stable, dynamic bridge with our compatriots living and working abroad.”

“Today, the next important step is being implemented with the operation of the updated platform, www.mindsincyprus.com,” he added.

“Through mindsincyprus.com, interested parties have access to the new Ministry of Labour Platform 'Opportunities for Talent', where they can view available job positions in Cyprus, register and receive personalised information about opportunities that match their profile,” the President of the Republic said.

At the same time, he noted, the first version of an Information Hub is available, with useful information for those considering their repatriation.

He also pointed out that “the repatriation and reintegration of Cypriot talent is an integral part of our broader plan for the development and future of our country.”

“Cyprus is changing and needs you all. Whether you choose to return or choose to contribute from wherever you are living, your contribution is of particular importance to us and Cyprus,” he noted.

“I invite you to our country, to change it together with you being the leading players,” President Christodoulides concluded.
